TheBrewz is a songwriting and music production company based in Honolulu, Hawaii that was founded in 2017. The company has since grown into a music-making workhorse that touches A LOT of music within a single year. In other words, we make music for a living and love doing it!

Chaz Umamoto and Josh Stephens founded the company and set out to uplift the Hawaii music community by splitting their time between collaborating with artists and licensing their music in high-profile advertising campaigns & television shows. Their efforts have proven a great success in their short time together. They along with the team they’ve built over the years have worked on 400+ songs spanning numerous genres that include collaborations with Grammy-nominated singer Kimie Miner and Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winning artists, CROSSING RAIN, and Kalaʻe Parish.

The reality is that music is not believed to be a practical career path. They hope to support change within the local community so that future generations of musicians can pursue their passion in a sustainable and thriving music culture.
